Spyderco Knife "Black FRN Native Plain". The Spyderco Native C41 is engineered for the human hand, the ergonomic design maximizes cutting ability while minimizing discomfort and fatigue. This Spyderco model is all about combining performance and comfort. The handle on the Native is patterned with two separate finger choils. The first choil, where the blade and handle meet, allow positioning the index finger closer to the knife's sharpened edge for control over the cutting surface. Behind the first choil, the second positions the hand farther back on the folder for dexterous cutting while pushing the blade away from you. Bi-Directional Texturing molded into the FRN handle form varying levels of steps minimizing forward or backward sliding. Carved out of the locking lever is a David Boye Dent insuring the lock remains safely engaged even when gripping the handle forcefully. A black steel tip-up clip can be placed ambidextrously on both sides of the handle via a barrel-shaped screw that doubles as a lanyard.

The Spyderco Native C41PBK has a hollow-ground CPM-S30V steel with a weight reducing swedge ground from the spine. The blade is satin finished with a plain edge. Jimping on the blade's spine yield an additional slip resistant point for the thumb. Comes brand new in box.

The T01 is made of investment-cast 17-4ph corrosion resistant stainless steel and features an adjustable crescent wrench with an opening capacity of 9/16". On the opposite end, a 2-setting slip joint plier fits comfortably in the hand, contour casted, no pinched fingers. A set of four screwdriver bits tuck deftly inside, including: a #2 and #3 Phillips-head as well as a #1 and #2 flat-head. The SpydeRench also accepts any standard 1/4" sized bit from your hardware store, including Allen and Torx.

The T01 also features a diamond-coated file featuring a concave, convex and flat sharpening surface with a small Phillips head on one side and a hole starter on the other end. A unique pivot pin allows the tool to rotate into an extended position that locks open, creating a full-sized easy to grip screwdriver and crescent wrench. By releasing the pivot, the screwdriver and knife portion of the tool can separate from the crescent wrench allowing both tools to be used independently and/or simultaneously. AUS-8 premium stainless steel was chosen for the full-sized locking knife blade. Brand new in box.

These are called Sprint Runs. The runs are approximate in number and will not be reordered or available again once the run is sold. Spyderco has received endless comments about the Dodo's unconventional, unusual appearance. With a face only its designer could love, the Dodo fulfills many of Spyderco's design philosophies. It's a 'little big knife' that was 'designed in the dark' (and should be judged by its ergonomics) which we manufacture with top-drawer materials and features. Take our challenge -- put it in your hand, cut with it, then let us know what you think.

One of its curious features is its blade shape. Although the blade has less than two inches of cutting edge, the curved belly supplies big cutting capability and its downward-pointed tip is intended for detailed/fine cutting. To create a fistful of leveraging points, the G-10 handle is fashioned in a grouping of finger choils ending in a tail. The tail becomes both a pinky shelf and a striking tool. For the Dodo specifically, Spyderco developed the Ball Bearing Lock. It works by dropping a pea-sized ball of steel into a recess on the blade's tang, locking the blade open. Once in the recess, the ball is compressed by the open blade and can't move or wobble. A remarkably strong locking system, that rates for MBC and heavy-duty on Spyderco's lock strength scale. To unlock, pull back on the ball- accessible on both sides of the knife for left/right handed use. Flexible wire tension-clip carries ambidextrously, tip-up. Brand new in box.
