Antique Cattaraugus Knife "Ebony Wood Doctors Knife". Antique ebony wood handle scales in a unique shape. Satin finished high carbon steel swedged spear point blade and small spear point blade. Both blades have good snap. Brass liners. Nickel silver fluted front bolsters and flat end cap bolster for crushing the pills. Nickel silver handle pins and inlaid crest shield. Proudly made in Little Valley, New York U.S.A. between 1891 and 1963. Excellent condition for its age.

Stainless steel upswept skinning blade with cut out to make the knife even lighter. Stainless steel finger guard. Really a unique piece that has been used some but is still nice and is very cool. Comes with original Cattaraugus leather sheath.

Antique Cattaraugus Knife "Mother of Pearl Doctor's Knife". Beautiful genuine antique mother of pearl handle scales. Thin and flexible carbon steel spatula doctor's blade. The blade has awesome snap. The tang stamp is still perfect and says "CATTARAUGUS CUTLERY CO. LITTLE VALLEY N.Y." The blade is etched and still visible, it says "GEO. S. MOFHAM & CO. COLORS PAST ST. LOUIS ILJS". Nickel silver bolsters, liners, and handle pins. The mystery behind this antique knife is just amazing, who knows who carried this little gem over the years. Proudly made in Little Valley, New York U.S.A. between 1886 and 1891. A beautiful antique knife with tons of character.

This knife is a bolster lock which is basically the same as a liner lock only the bolster gets pushed to release the blade instead of the liner. This is a cool and unique old piece by Cattaraugus. Comes in near mint condition in a nice black hard case Cattaraugus display box.
